Ryan Lonergan is an American filmmaker, photographer, and novelist. He wrote, directed, produced, edited, and performed in the award-winning feature film KILL THE MONSTERS, which the Los Angeles Times called: "a joyous... bold, snappy, head-spinningly clever tale," and named one of 5 Under the Radar Films of 2018. Other films include THREE LADIES, THE FALL OF 1980, SKATE GREAT!, and A THOUSAND BEAUTIFUL THINGS. His debut novel, OLATHE, will be completed this year. Lonergan holds a BFA in Theatre from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts where he studied acting and directing with the Atlantic Theatre Company and an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University. He is the recipient of the Felipe P. De Alba Prize for Fiction and the Motion Picture Institute's Fellowship Grant. He lives in New York City.
